OUR STORY

Athren's Cookie Factory started up in May of 2017 when mine and my son's eczema was at its utmost worst. After several visits to the doctor and an immunologist, we soon discovered that our dear Athren, was in fact allergic and intolerant to many foods.

​

Allergens were removed from our diets, and in turn, limited the amount of safe food and treats we could have.

​

Because of this, I was forced to research and teach myself to cook and bake safe, enjoyable treats.

Having gone through all this, I am so thankful for this blessing in disguise. Had I not been thrown into a situation where I had to teach myself how to bake and learn about safe alternatives, Athren's Cookie Factory would not be as it is today.
